Executive director Francesca Yellico beamed about the strength of the young mother, “this girl really deserves this and has worked so hard!”

Ja’Nya Johnson and Carmen Hernandez each received a $2,000 dollar grant to further their education.

“It makes an enormous difference in my life. It allows me to pay for my remaining tuition and reduce the student loan and credit card debt I’ve accumulated while pursuing my education. More than just financial relief, it helps give me peace of mind as I prepare to enter motherhood, allowing me to focus on my health, my studies, and the future I am building for my baby.”

Congratulations to Rachel, Elena, and Francesca, our three recipients for the Spring semester of 2025. All three of these nursing school candidates attended our award ceremony hosted by Beacon of Light Pregnancy Support Center in Middletown, NY.

On July 31st, the fifth educational grant was awarded to Ms. Zoe Chen. The Bridge to Life pregnancy resource center, located in College Point, New York, held a reception for Ms. Chen. Zoe currently works in the airline industry, and is planning on becoming an airplane technician.
